These stories are killing me!
Feb. 10th, 2006 11:55 pmWell, my entry for
loveathons is kicking my ass. Maybe it's because I decided I wanted to also use it for my entry for the Ask Questions Later Challenge. I'm looking at my notebook and while on paper it looks like quite a bit, I just know that once I type it up, it's going to be half that and I haven't hit the 1,000 words mark just yet.
So maybe I should have been writing somewhere other than my English 301 and English 380 classes. But hey, on the bright side, at least I stuck to writing it during English, right?
Okay, so I'm just rationalizing. Ah well.
To top all that off? I have to completely rewrite the latest chapter for Wrong because it's gone. Poof. Lost. Which ticks me off but I pretty much remember what I had and while it won't be worded exactly the way it was, who knows? Maybe it'll come out better than before. Either way, it's still frustrating.
Anyway, D and I declared ourselves to be some of the lamest 20-21 year olds in town tonight. Why? Because once we'd bought the stuff so I could make dinner, we stopped by Hollywood Video and looked around before deciding not to get anything, then went home which is where I made dinner and we watched American Pie and then How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Well, okay, maybe it's not exactly lame but when you consider that's what we usually do (with a variation on the movies...tonight it was comedy) maybe it is.
We almost went to go see Rent again since it's still at the $2.50 theater but we missed both the night showings. By the time D suggested we go to the 6:00 show, she realized it was ten after. We were barely eating dinner by 8:40 and the next showing was at 9:00.
If we end up going tomorrow, it'll be my third time going since last Saturday or something like that. I can't help it! It's inexpensive and the songs keep getting stuck in my head and then it makes me want to watch the movie. Plus when we went to see it the other night, it was D's first time seeing it. (It was the third time for me and Jade since we saw it when it first came out.) But now she loves the movie and wants to see it again because she said she didn't even cry that much when she saw it on Broadway. Kind of proud that I play a part in getting her hooked on so many things. (Buffy, VM, Rent...I'm thisclose to convincing her to get on LJ.)
Okay, so now that I've done my random post, I'm going to try and figure out how I want to work this story...after all, I only have a few days left!
