Okay, so a number of things have amused me in the past few days, so I'm posting about them. (Much of this is related to either the Buffy or Supernatural fandom, just to forewarn some of you.)
First? When one of my friends was watching season 1 of Supernatural for the first time, she was getting very frustrated with both the boys and just burst out with, "Fucking Sam! Fucking Dean!" And the next sentence just flew out of my mouth automatically: "Oh, I wish I was." Yes, I'm a dork and the conversation still amuses me when I think of it a few days later.
Yesterday in Shakespeare, we were talking about Henry V and the other histories, right? And we got onto the subject of how in love with their horses many of the men seem to be and that went into a comparison of men and their horse with men and their cars today. So what do I do? As soon as I hear that, the first thing I think of, and what I write at the top of my page of notes, is this: Deanpala!
And then there's these Xander music videos that I found, hee!

rachel_shanz and keepaofthecheez, I'm very torn on my slashy SV couple. See, I automatically think Clark and Lex = YAY! But then I found this picture and it looked like Lex and Jason were going to start fighting and my reaction? "OMG! THEY'RE TOTALLY GOING TO START FIGHTING OVER CLARK ANY SECOND NOW!!!!" And then I read the hot Clark/Jason and Clark/Jason/Lex and I can't choose. Of course, then my mind goes "NOOO! CLEX IS MY SV SLASHY PAIRING!!" and then Rachel has to go and add Oliver to the mix and there's now even MORE hotness and AGH! *headdesk*
And yes, for some reason, that problem of mine in picking a slashy SV pairing really does amuse me. But really, it's not an actual contest because I always go back to Clex because that pairing is LOVE! It is, damn it!
And because all the SV talk brought this video to mind, here's a Clex video that makes me laugh and go "Hot!" all at the same time:
