Nice relaxing night.

So tonight I had dinner with my little sister, Dana (from the sorority...and I still find it funny that we both left within a semester of each other) and a couple other girls who have also left the sorority, along with my little's roommate. Anyway, Dana and I hadn't hung out in awhile so she called me up yesterday and invited me out to Johnny Carino's since she'd been craving it and this way it was like killing two birds with one stone. (Me and JC's! LOL) Hell, it was even her treat.

The point is, I had a lot of fun. Rachel had me laughing and so did Ardith and Bridget. It feels like it's been forever since I've just sat down and talked with them and laughed.

When we were walking in, we spotted Jenny (who's another girl who was in the sorority...she's an alum now) sitting on the outside patio with Noelle (did you guess another former sorority girl? Gold star!) and Alma, Noelle's girlfriend. A quick wave and that was about it for that until Jenny came inside to get a drink from the bar, which we happened to be sitting by because that was really the only spot where we'd all fit since a couple guys were supposed to be there but they never showed. Anyway, we talked with her for awhile, playing catch up, and she told us how she was doing. (And when we asked how she was, the response was "Hey, it's happy hour. I'm good.") She also said she had to get the drink out to Zuhey (former sorority...all I'll say from now on), who had declared Jenny was her bitch for the night and Jenny laughed it off and was fine with it. *shakes head* Gotta love those girls, they have such a funny friendship.

Anyway, once we were done eating, we went out and said hey to all of them (Jenny's big sister from the sorority and a girl I'd never met was also with them) and then Bridget headed off to a party, Rachel and Ardith headed off to get ready to go to either a club in Mexico or the Brew, one of the bars in town. As for me and Dana, we decided that it'd be more fun to walk the mall and discovered this new store that has all kinds of unique art and jewelry. And then, proving that she is so my little, Dana suggested we go to the shoe store. (I have this thing for shoes...Kristina doesn't get it, lol.) We went around trying on shoes, saying which ones we'd buy if we had the money and then checked out the purses. Basically most of our time was spent in those two stores, just talking about all sorts of stuff.

So, all in all, I had a fun night, hanging out with my little for the first time in over a month, catching up with everyone and then just doing nothing. And I think I'm more relaxed right now than I have been in awhile. ^_^


There. Done. And with the length, I'm pretty sure it's a good thing that I put that under a cut. LOL.
