Okay, so it's not done yet. But I'm going to be doing a series of parodies for the different types of Buffy/HP crossovers. Why you ask? Because just yesterday, Heidi and I were mourning the quality of quite a few of the stories out there. (Seriously! What is with just completely rewriting the history of the show? If you're going to do that, could you at least say "Hey! This is an AU. Just making sure you know since Faith is showing up in season 2, Angel's not getting his soul back, that truce with Spike and Buffy is all an act and oh yeah, Faith won't go evil and Buffy's actually Harry's long lost sister who got kidnapped and then these people faked her death sending the Potters into a spiral of grief. Oh and original characters who are gods are going to be involved in this somehow.")
Just saying. A little warning, people! That's all I ask.
Anyway, that entire conversation had me deciding that a parody was just begging to be written. But I couldn't decide on a situation. Should Buffy be a Malfoy or a Potter? Should Willow be a Weasley? Should Snape be Xander's dad? Should anyone actually even be related or should there be a bunch of romances? Or a combination? Should there be slash or not? Both?
Which is why...I'm doing them all.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
And then point at the horribleness (is that a word?) of it all and laugh. Laugh, I say!
