blue_icy_roseFirst of all, thank you Mar for the lovely layout and icon! You know my take on it...for those of you who don't, the first thing I said when I saw it was "Pretty!" LOL. And isn't it just?

Happy Halloween everybody!
I'll be heading to bed soon...I slept from a little after two to about ten with the only time I woke up being when my mom and then my uncle called. Oh and when my alarm went off and I realized I was still sleepy. And now, here I am, at such odd hours of the night, all wide awake again. But I'm going to force myself to sleep since I'm getting up at eight. Kristina said something about needing to be up early for breakfast so I have to make sure I am.
We're going to be working on Halloween Howl today, though for how long I don't know. And then we get to have the carnival and after that...we take it all down. Talk about a pain in the butt. But, on the bright side, I'm going to be wearing one of my Hot Topic dresses, so yay! I just have to pick which one...and then we're having a date party next week which I also have to dress up for. *rolls eyes* Yippee. Okay, so I'm not ecstatic about going to the date party. There are a couple reasons for that:
1. They've made it mandatory. So, basically, it's like forcing everyone to go since I know of some people (myself included) who wouldn't be going if they had the choice.
2. I'm not the type of person who can just ask a guy out. As a matter of fact, I asked a one of my friends to go with me. My friend happens to be a girl. Do you see my point here? I have complete problems with asking a guy out. The last time I asked a guy out was for our sorority's final and Tina and a couple other girls had to bribe me to do it and even then, the guy couldn't go. So, yay with the asking guys out. (Note sarcasm.)
3. The theme is "Famous Couples" which means that everyone's gotta dress up as a famous couple of some sort. I don't know who I'm going to dress up as because I can't afford to buy anything and the girl who said she'd go wants to use her Marilyn Monroe costume. So, I can either a.) dress up as a guy from one of her movies or b.) dress up as a woman that she worked with quite a bit. (The couples don't have to be boy/girl or even involved romantically. They be friends as long as you recognize them...like Laverne and Shirley or something.) I'm going for b most likely. Now I just have to think of someone...
I'm sure I could come up with more reasons but those are the big ones. Another could just be the attitude that some of the girls have about the party. It's hard to explain how they're acting...I think the word forceful would be best. Thankfully, that's just a few girls mainly.
On a much happier note, I started watching season six of Buffy today! I got it for my birthday and was I ever happy! So I've been playing with it and I've gotten through the first three episodes. Now I'm determined to get season seven. And season one of Angel...and Alias...and Roswell...
So many DVDs, so little time...
